Who is Rain?

There are a lot of sources out there saying who Rain is and what he has achieved. But through my eyes...

Rain is a South Korean performer and actor. He was trained under the tutelage of Park Jin Young (JYP) for JYP Entertainment. He debuted to showbiz with the song Bad Guy, back in the year 2002. 

As an actor, he starred in various Korean dramas like Full House, Fugitive Plan B, and A Love to Kill. In Korean movies, you can see him in I'm A Cyborg, But That's OK and his latest one, R2B:Return to Base. He also had projects in Hollywood. Rain played the role of Taejo Togokahn in Speed Racer and as Raizo in Ninja Assassin.

In 2007, he established his own company known as Rainy Entertainment and the record label, J Tune Camp. His first album under his new record label was Rainism. The song of the same name continues to be a fan favorite until now. Most of the Clouds that I have asked on what their favorite song by Rain is... they would answer, Rainism! 

With his company, he produced the K-Pop boy group MBLAQ in 2009. Just last year 2012, J Tune Camp debuted the girl group Two X.

Rain is currently serving the Korean army. He enlisted on October 2011. Rain is under DEMA as an "entertainment soldier". We, fans, are happy that we could take a glimpse of him through his various Consolatory Train Performances. He was discharged on July 10, 2013.
