Rain's Wonderful Stage Performance at the 2nd Army Logistics Support Command (29 May 2013 Consolatory Train)

And with 'wonderful', I mean the kind that makes you want to sing and dance to the beat of the music! That is what I felt when I saw Rain's Hip Song performance for the 2nd Army Logistics Support Command last May 29. In the past, I only enjoy his stage, but it was only this time when I really danced and moved along with the groove! Oh yeah~!

I think it's because Rain danced all throughout the song. He moved slightly according to the routine of Hip Song. He didn't project the dance moves as what he does in his concerts, but... but it was still a good performance! I wouldn't be singing and dancing along if it weren't!

To see what I am talking about, here it is... Rain, everybody! Get ready to sing, dance, and... scream!

(video by 쓰읍 하)

So are you dancing now? Do you still have your voice after all the screaming? LOL! Anyway, here is another fan cam of Rain's performance. I like this one too because we can see Rain up close!

Thank goodness this concert was open to the public! Our dear Korean Clouds were there for us! Aside from their fan cams, here are photos, too:

The stadium was full of people!

You know what? I think 'wonderful' is not enough to describe everything! What with all that excitement, it's as if I was present in Uijeongbu Indoor Stadium, too!

"Hardship is Still My Precious Property"

One of Rainthetreasure's Words of Rain artwork touched my heart once again. This time it struck deeper. I am a person who see suffering in a negative way.

What do you do when life gets difficult? Me... I get discouraged and give up. But here is a man so optimistic about it. He said "Hardship is still my precious property." As spoken by a person with a passion and enthusiasm for his work, Rain proves again the kind of person he is.

WOR-16 by Rainthetreasure

I do everything with my best effort so I don't feel any guilt for slacking off.
In the good times and bad times I always wanted to become the successful "Rain".
In the future when compared to other singers,
I hope to be remembered as "Rain, a hard worker".
I take pleasure in doing my works.
Hardship still is my precious property.
It makes me push myself to practice harder,
when people are sleeping, I am still awake working,
and so I can win in a battle with myself.
-Rain-

He has proven it over and over again! From his difficult teenage years to his time in the army. Enduring hardship has always been one of his precious virtues. Each time he falls, he stands up stronger!

All of his Clouds follow his example! Thank God for Jung JiHoon!  I chose the right person to admire. Now for me, each time I face with hardship, I will tell myself, "The person I look up to sees the positive in this!" So.... Aja! Aja!

Rain at the 37th Army Infantry Division (16 May 2013 Consolatory Train)

From stunning to incredible! I have ran out of words to describe how breathtaking Rain's performances are! Even only in photos, you can feel the energy emanating from the stage! Here we have another set of images from Rain's consolatory train performance on May 16, 2013. I think he sang Hip Song for this.

Rain goes down from the stage to get near the audience and soldiers:

I have saved the best photos for last! Woah woah woah! Nice play of elements! Lighting, fire, and Rain!
Lighting at the back, fire on front, and Rain at the center!

Rain and his dancers among the elements! Do you feel the energy or what?

So what is the correct adjective to describe Rain's performance for this? It must be... electrifying!

Photos of Rain at the 19th Fighter Wing Air Force (14 May 2013 Consolatory Train)

Rain performed for the 19th Fighter Wing Air Force on May 14, 2013. We have no videos from this event yet. Ah well~ Few images make us miss Rain more and look forward to July 10, right Clouds?

Here is our handsome sergeant gracing the stage! Looking at the pictures of the dancers, I think Rain sang Hip Song here.

Beautiful sergeant on stage.

Here I am again observing everything, not just Rain! The stage has been added a new element: Fire! There were some burst of fire on previous conso train stage before, but never has it been captured like this on camera!

Huge fireball!

Good fire visualization

Another fireball!

Rain's beautiful stage!
Sgt. Jung interacting with  the audience! It is always a part of his performance!

And this.... is my favorite photo! Rain and his dancers together diffusing a powerful aura!

Yo! Wassup man!
It was another stunning performance from Rain, one of DEMA's most in demand soldier! Go, Sgt. Jung JiHoon!

Rain's Performance at the ABN Family Rock Festival and Consolatory Train (4 May 2013)

I got the information too late that this Consolatory Train was to be aired via live streaming at http://www.abn.co.kr/html/index.html 7:00 - 9:00 KST on May 4, 2013. Ah well~~ Too bad I missed it! I should have just went home early from work!

If you're like me who missed the live airing of the show, fret not! Our dear Korean Cloud sisters have fan cams and photos for us! Weeee~~~There are a LOT of them out there. Clouds love Rain so much!

Let's start with the photos. Our Cloud sisters took photos of the posters, the venue, and the stage prior to the start of the show. Gotta admire the preparations being made for this!

And here we see a short glimpse of Rain prior to the show:

Of course, the fan cams are in, too! See Rain perform up close! We're so happy to see Rain again! He surprised the audience by singing Instead of Saying Goodbye along with Hip Song. Rain danced a little, but he still gave his best to the audience by singing well and interacting with them. Video below courtesy of vividly12blue. Good job! We love the close ups of our dear Rain!

And oh! Let's not forget the beauty of the stage and the backdrop, too! It was a grand grand stage, everyone! Fireworks were in the air while Rain was singing Instead of Saying Goodbye. See the video (courtesy of KFN and uploaded by jamieee418 in YouTube) below:

Rain has a LOT of photos circulating around the internet now... but let me share with you my favorites. Photos courtesy of our dear Clouds and KFN:

He is Responsible for Our Smile

Rain's smile... as captured by Rainthetreasure

He is responsible for our smile. See full size wallpaper here
The artwork (shown above) by Jess MK of Rainthetreasure is entitled "He is responsible for our smile".  How true! That photo made me happy and touched my heart in an instant. It is very dramatic! I remember how Rain has always been able to make me smile in times of sadness or loneliness. His smile... makes all of his Clouds smile. (And I am smiling now as I write this!)

Rain Returns to South Korea from US Trip

I thought he would stay in the US for weeks as what reports said. However, he stayed there for only 5 days and on May 11, 2013, he returned to his home country. Special thanks to our dear Clouds present in Incheon Airport for these photos and videos.

In these times when we rarely get to see him out, photos and videos are special. We're so happy to see Rain again!
